We invite submissions on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year from members of the bar, legal professionals, law students, or others who are interested in publishing with us and wish to further legal discourse.

Authors must adhere to the following submission guidelines:
- The article must be an original work of the author and should not be under consideration for publication in any other journal or blog.
- Plagiarism to an extent of 10% is allowed, in case of more than 10%, the submission will be rejected.
- The use of AI tools in drafting the article is strictly prohibited.
- Co-authorship up to two authors is permitted for all categories.
- The article must not exceed 1500–1700 words.
- The manuscript should be formatted in Times New Roman Font with a size of 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- All the relevant sources must be duly acknowledged and hyperlinked within the text. Footnotes are not permitted. Hyperlinks must link to credible and accurate legal/media sources.
- Articles will be assessed based on the relevance of the subject matter, accuracy and precision of information, and the depth of critical analysis.
- The article must be submitted in an MS Word document and mailed to blog.ccls@gmail.com
- The submission e-mail must include a brief description of the author containing Name, Designation, Current Year of Study, Batch and College Name.
- The authors are encouraged to provide a relevant photograph regarding the subject matter of the article if they wish a photographic preview in the blog posts and social media updates. The authors are requested to not send AI-generated photographs.
- The authors shall receive an acknowledgement email upon receipt of the article by the Editorial Board. If no acknowledgement is received, authors are advised to resend the submission.
- After acknowledgement, the article will undergo a rigorous three-stage peer review process, and the decision regarding acceptance or rejection will be communicated within 14 days.
- Upon acceptance, copyright of the article will automatically transfer to the University through the Editorial Board. The article may be published in the University’s digital repository and shared across social media platforms.
- However, we allow the reposting of published blog posts on other platforms. However, the second publication should be allowed only with the prior permission of the Editors. The second publication should duly acknowledge the publication on this blog. It may be done by stating that: [first posted on The Criminal Law Blog on dd/mm/yyyy].
- The blog accepts only original submissions and does not consider articles that have been previously published elsewhere.
- In all matters related to submission and publication, the decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding.
